Preparing For a Virtual or Teledermatology Visit

  • When you book a virtual or teledermatology visit online, you will be treated with the level of professionalism from a board certified dermatologist you deserve. 

​

  • We will be requiring all patients to pay for their appointment via direct pay, or payment prior to visit. The total cost is $150. Please contact the office regarding any questions or concerns.

​

  • You may use your HSA/FSA accounts for payment. 

​

  • Your insurance company may reimburse you for your visit. If you would like to submit an invoice to your insurance company, please let us know at the time of your visit.

  • What insurances do we accept? â€‹

    • We do not accept insurance at this time. Please contact the clinic if you need assistance.

  • Do you need a referral from a doctor? 

    • No, you do not need a referral to be seen virtually at this time. You must be present in the state of Tennessee at the time of your appointment. 

 

  • Do you offer virtual appointments?

    • We offer virtual appointments available by booking online or calling the clinic during office hours.

  • What should I expect for my virtual consultation? 

    • Please check to make sure you have a stable internet connection before your appointment

    • Set up your camera in an area with a neutral background and adequate lighting

    • You will receive a link before your appointment with all the information you will need

  • What conditions do you treat?

    • At Simmons Skin Center, we offer virtual appointments to address the needs of patients of any age and skin type. There are conditions best suited for virtual appointments including acne, dark spots/discoloration, rashes, hair/scalp concerns, skin infections and more.
